How does legalization work?
The process varies by country but usually involves: certification by a notary public or the issuing authority, authentication by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, a certified translation into the destination language and, finally, legalization by the embassy or consulate. Several embassies accredited to Iceland are based in other Nordic capitals – we handle the correspondence and shipping.
Requirements change
Embassy rules change regularly and more countries join the Hague Convention every year. We check the current requirements for every case before we start, so your documents aren't rejected.
For businesses
Exporters and companies operating abroad often need legalized certificates of origin, invoices, articles of association and powers of attorney. We handle both one-off cases and recurring shipments.
