Power of attorney for use in Iceland and abroad

Need to authorise someone to sell property, settle an estate, set up a company or handle matters for you in another country? We help you prepare the power of attorney in the right language, have the signature notarised, obtain an apostille and translate it – so it is accepted where it will be used.

Bilingual powers of attorney

A bilingual power of attorney – for example Icelandic–Polish or English–French – often removes the need for a separate translation and speeds up processing. We lay out the text in two columns and make sure both versions match.

Common uses

Property transactions abroad, estates and inheritance, banking, company formation and management, vehicle registration, and dealings with tax and other public authorities.

Good to know

We are not a law firm and do not draft the legal substance of complex powers of attorney. If you have a text from a lawyer, bank or foreign authority, we take care of translation, notarisation and apostille. If you need legal advice, we refer you to a partner.
